Analays Alvarez Hernandez

Analays Alvarez Hernandez (Havana, 1982) is a doctoral candidate in Art History at UQÀM, as well as an art critic and curator. Through her research, she focuses on contemporary issues of monument art as well as Cuban and Latin American art. Alvarez Hernandez has worked as an intern at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Havana (2005-2006) and was responsible for projects at The Public Art Bureau for the City of Montreal (2011-2012). She has recently directed two issues for the online art magazine Archée,on the appearance and consolidation of media technologies in Latin America.
