Ray

Ray (they/them) is an artist and cultural worker based in Montreal. Their work includes interactive media, coded websites, zines, and community-engaged projects. Ray focuses on building work that emphasizes intimacy, care, and accessibility, and explores how technology shapes emotional and social life.

They use DIY and poetic coding methods to create small interactive tools and participatory experiences. Ray’s background in facilitation, social practice and public programming informs their collaborative approach to working with communities and collectives. 🌀 learning → making → teaching as a spiral.

They briefly worked on web and archiving projects at AdaX in Winter 2025. They’re back this Winter to prototype an interactive keyboard for the archive.
