Tara Bethune-Leamen
Tara Bethune-Leamen is a writer/director/videographer/journalist, originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Though working in different media, her work has a consistant theme of subversion, whether it is of pop genres or mainstream media. She has interviewed the porn star Houston for the London-based lifestyle magazine Sleazenation (also broadcast on CakeNYC.com) and edited Moby’s self-shot tour footage for his Grammy nominated DVD PLAY. She is currently working on the vaudeville-burlesque act, “The Bindlestiff Family Circus” for Penthouse, as well as interviewing various UN employees and a Canadian General for a documentary on American foreign policy in the Middle East.
