Skawennati Tricia Fragnito est une artiste qui travaille depuis 1996 autour des nouveaux médias, en ayant commencé avec CyberPowWow. Son travail artistique aborde l’histoire, le futur et le changement. Imagining Indians in the 25th Century; Thanksgiving Address: Greetings to the Technological World; et 80 Minutes, 80 Movies, 80s Music, ont été largement exposés. Sa production actuelle intitulée TimeTraveller™, est un projet multi plate-forme où figurent des programmes machinima, un site internet (www.TimeTravellerTM.com) et un jeu en réalité alternée (ARG – Alternate Reality Game). Actuellement, Skawennati co-dirige, avec Jason E. Lewis, Aboriginal Territories in Cyberspace (www.AbTeC.org). Leur projet Otsì:!, a remporté le prix du meilleur nouveau média à imagineNative 2010.
