Chloë Lalonde

Chloë Lalonde (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural worker from Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montreal who holds a bachelor’s degree in art education and anthropology from Concordia University and a master’s degree in art and science from the University of Applied Arts, Vienna. They are interested in the experiences of inclusion and exclusion that emerge in the field of art, as well as in the hidden labor and accessibility of materials and resources engaged in artistic production, education and  cultural work. Working with strategies of decolonisation, intersectional feminism, accessibility, language, and sustainability, they emphasise knowledge sharing through writing, publication design, content creation, and the design and mediation of immersive experiences, educational workshops, installations and exhibitions. Chloë has written for publications such as Esse and Maisonneuve, and has worked with Concordia University’s Centre for Creative Reuse, 4th SPACE, Momenta Biennale de l’image, among others, and currently teaches at the Centre des Arts Visuelles de Westmount. Chloë joined the Ada X team as Communications and Social Media Coordinator in 2023.
