In collaboration with Conversations by BLCKMSSN, Howl!, and C-Uni-T, The HTMlles 11 presents a Conversation on Afrofuturism from a feminist perspective, featuring international and local artists. Afrofuturism describes a cultural aesthetics and philosophy at the intersection of black culture, technology, the imagination, and liberation, including the creation of alternative realities through a black cultural lens. The event aims to create links between Afrofuturism and Montreal-based community organizing and artistic production, and will end with an afrofuturistically inspired evening of music and more… conversations.
