Introduction to Creative Programming with p5.js

In this workshop, participants will be introduced to creative programming with p5.js. They will be able to create their own interactive web page and learn the basics of JavaScript programming. P5.js is a free, open-source JavaScript library (a collection of pre-written code) that allows you to create art, animations, and interactions directly in a web browser. Inspired by Processing, it offers a user-friendly and accessible environment for artists, designers, beginners, and teachers to explore and learn creative programming, with a focus on generative art and data visualization.

This workshop is offered in collaboration with the City of Laval as part of Poetry Night.
