Zero Future: Zero Value. Capitalism needs the future. Without a future, assets bought today cannot be sold tomorrow. During the performance, artist Raphaële Frigon subverts biomedical technology and poses an anti-capitalist gesture by implanting diamonds under her skin. By doing so, she puts herself in a position of power over her own trans-woman body and examines how value and realness are constructed by economy. Due to limited space at Rats 9, the performance will be transmitted live at Skol.
