Studio XX will be closed from December 21, 2013 to January 7, 2013. The team and the board of directors of Studio XX wish everyone a happy holiday and all the best for the New Year! We look forward to seeing you in 2014 at our events and workshops. We will reopen the 2014 winter season as part of a special night dedicated to our 100th Wired Women Salon, stay tuned for more details coming in january !
The Studio XX and .dpi teams would like to thank everyone who contributed to making our fundraising campaign through Indiegogo a success. We reached our goal with a final total of $2019 for the release of the 28th edition of .dpi, Gender(ed) Cultures on the Internet, which was launched during the Liquidation event at the Royal Phoenix on December 7th.
The launch was a success with some one hundred attendees who came for an open DJ Battle and GIF projection curated by Jennifer Chan. This was followed by a performance by the artist Johnny Forever Nawracaj on the theme of 2girls 1cup, and then DJ and VJ sets by Deanna Radford, Chocobeets, Dj K7K8, Cyan and more. Thanks to all the artists, Royal phoenix, the volunteers and the public for contributing to the success of the evening !
