Fannie L’Heureux
Fannie L’Heureux is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice revolves around the revaluation of the feminine and resilience as an act of resistance. Recipient of a bachelors degree in visual arts and media arts from UQAM, she explores the relationships between the body, the feminine, consumption, and digital media. Her approach is simultaneously poetic, critical and feminist, often displayed through performance, relational art, archives, video, and installation. She has presented her work in places like UQAM’s gallery, TOPO, Le Lieu, Studio 303, maison de la culture Côte-des-Neiges and l’Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme at Place des Arts. She has also participated in programming for RIPA 2025, Artch 2025, and Festival Détours 2024. In 2022, she received a scholarship of excellence from the McAbbie Foundation. She lives and works in Montreal.
