Felicia Rojas-Roy

Felicia Rojas-Roy, is a Tiohtià:ke-based fiber and installation artist whose identity and practice have been shaped by their upbringing with a Peruvian father and a Belgian Canadian mother. Their work enables multisensory encounters with the arts, using textiles for their familiarity and intrinsic tie to the day-to-day. They aim to create intimate spaces where people feel safe to address sometimes uncomfortable subjects, fostering conversation and challenging what it means to be comfortable as an audience. Felicia’s work is centered on decolonization, revolutionary joy, anti-surveillance, identity, and community. It stems from personal experiences that extend outwards.

Felicia received the Fibres & Material Practices award from Concordia University in 2025.
