Lisa Tronca

Lisa Tronca is a curator, author, translator, and cultural worker based in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montreal. She holds a certificate in translation from UdeM, as well as a bachelor’s and master’s degree in art history from UQAM. During her academic studies, she specialized in digital and web art, as well as online curating. Notable exhibitions include Re|Search (2020), S’éclipser|Phases of Resilience (2021), and Bureaux-écrans d’écrivain·e·s (2022). Since then, she has been focusing on issues of spatiality as well as multidisciplinary and socially engaged practices. She has worked with various research groups and cultural organizations, including Laboratoire NT2, MOMENTA Biennale de l’image, and Galerie de l’UQAM, and is currently Co-Executive and Administrative Director at ESPACE art actuel magazine.

Lisa has been a member of Ada X since 2023 and a member of the programming commitee since 20205. She has a curating practice in digital art and web art.
