Media arts for families and video installation

With : Olivia McGilchrist
Saturday May 13, 2017 from 2PM to 4PM
Free | Registration

In this workshop, we will experiment with video mapping on 3D shapes and multi-screen video installations with poetry evocative of the theme of water.
Limited places! To register: send the name and age of the participants to webmestre @
Using either their own audio-visual content or a selection of pre-loaded clips and texts, participants will project these on hand-made shapes or ‘ready-made’ objects (a table, a garment!), creating their own ephemeral environments, which will be documented and made available for them to share with others.

Media arts for families
Inspired by the “Coding goûters,” the Medias Arts for families project brings together children and their parents to have fun to program and design artworks in electronic arts with artists. The activity is free (you have to registrate), in exchange for a contribution to a shared snack! All projects will be presented at Studio XX in June 2017.

This project receives financial support from the Ministry of Culture and Communications and the City of Montreal as part of the Agreement on the cultural development of Montreal.
