As part of the NUM Festival organized by Bibliothèques de Laval, Ada X is offering a workshop on 3D modelling and virtual reality for youth.
In this workshop led by artist Noémie Carrier, participants can dress an avatar with help from 3D modelling platform Thinkercad, by using methods similar to those employed when creating physical garments. The avatars will then be integrated into the virtual Allo Ada space, where they will be invited to discover each other’s creations with a virtual reality helmet.
*Allo Ada is a virtual space for discovery, animation and encounters with artists, created by Ada X with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
