Roxane Halary (a.k.a. Roxa Hy) is a Montreal-based artist, designer and cultural worker. She joined the Ada X team in 2017, where she performs tasks related to the organization’s editorial vision, community engagement and artistic coordination. In parallel, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Design at UQAM. Her most recent research focuses on access to public spaces, the adaptation of the built environment to contemporary needs and the rights of LGBTQ+ people. Her work has been supported by the Conseil des Arts de Montréal, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, the Canada Council for the Arts, and more recently by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
