Paule Mackrous

Paule Mackrous is an author, art semiotician, lecturer and urban forester. She is interested in engaged digital aesthetics, as well as ecological, decolonial and reparative artistic practices. She was a member of the editorial board of .dpi, Ada’s feminist journal of art and digital culture, and a board member in 2015-2016. Guest curator for the exploration of Ada’s archives in 2008, she created the XX fantastique, a thematic journey through the Matricules archives. In 2020, she founded Coeur d’épinette, a socio-ecological transition project promoting connection to urban nature and community-building through the arts, walking and eco-conferences.
