Vincent Mai

Vincent Mai is a PhD candidate at the Robotics and Embodied AI Lab at Université de Montréal, within Mila, the Quebec Institute of Artificial Intelligence. He is working on Reinforcement Learning algorithms and their links to robotics. Before joining Mila, he completed his master’s degree at ETH Zurich, where he mainly worked on aerial robots such as drones and blimps.
Vincent is also interested in the responsible development of AI. He was part of the editing team for the Montreal Declaration, and with Algora Lab works on deliberative ethics for digital innovation.
